Based in the rugged, current-swept coastal hub of Fort Dauphin (Tolagnaro), Southeastern Madagascar, Indigo Island Adventures was forged to bridge a gap in the market. We provide our fellow South African anglers and spearos with the opportunity to experience world-class island fishing and elite blue-water aquatic disciplines at an honest, affordable price point.
We are a joint South African and Malagasy-owned company. By fusing raw local knowledge of Madagascar’s untamed coastline with the grit and standards of South African watermen, we cover every base imaginable. From heavy-tackle rock and surf camping expeditions to hardcore deep-sea and spearfishing adventures, we deliver high-intensity trips built by fisherman, for fishermen.

The unique positioning of Fort Dauphin delivers a relentless mix of pelagic predators and heavy reef brawlers. Depending on whether you are casting from the shore, jigging the drop-offs, or hunting on scuba-free breath-holds, your primary targets include:
