Flight Pathways & Logistics

Outbound Journey:
- Flight from Johannesburg to Antananarivo (Madagascar).
- Included overnight hotel stay in Antananarivo.
- Flight from Antananarivo to Fort Dauphin the following day.
- Official airport pickup and ground transport straight to the first fishing location.
Inbound Journey:
- Return flights follow the exact same procedure, including the required overnight hotel stay.
Inclusions: All flight tickets and scheduled transit hotel stays are 100% included in the package price.

Client Expense: Any excess baggage fees or specialized oversized equipment costs (such as rigid rod tubes or heavy dive bags) are strictly for the client's own expense.

Booking Deposit: A 50% deposit is strictly required to secure any package booking.
Deposit Cancellation Policy: Deposits are fully refundable up to 1 calendar month prior to the adventure commencement date. No refunds for cancellations made after this window.
Final Balance Deadline: The remaining 50% balance must be paid via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) on the day of arrival.

By booking an excursion with Indigo Island Adventures, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following:
- Assumption of Risk: Extreme fishing, spearfishing, ocean diving, and remote camping involve inherent risks, including unpredictable weather, changing sea states, and wildlife interactions. Clients participate voluntarily and at their own risk.
- Liability Release: Indigo Island Adventures, its guides, and affiliates accept no responsibility for personal injury, illness, loss of life, or damage/loss of personal property during the trip.
- Itinerary Alterations: Ocean conditions dictate daily activities. The skipper/guide reserves the right to alter the daily itinerary, fishing locations, or water entry points to ensure group safety. No refunds are issued for weather-related route changes.
- Medical Fitness: The client confirms they are medically fit and possess the necessary swimming/diving capability required for their chosen adventure. Medical insurance with international medical evacuation coverage is highly recommended.

Although South Eastern Madagascar is a very safe environment to visit, all our packages involving camping or traveling are under the care of a certified close protection operative and certified first aid level 3 administrator. Police or military escourts will be provided should the need arise. Certified security officers ensure your protection at each camping site.
